Charges appeared on the old card, whereas I immediately went to the Police Department and filed a report'. After going through the fraud department over 7 times, and 360 minutes on my cell phone, I was then referred directly to H&R BANK>, who received the account and sent me a letter stating I would not receive any funds, that it was a "billing error"!.
I am now waiting for the tapes which the police department has subpoenead from the ATM machines to identify the person/persons withdrawing my funds'.
H&R Block has told me numerous different things, from receiving funds in 3 days, then receiving them in 10 days, and then told the BANK/ made the decision and it could take up to 10 more days, spoke with bank 3 different times, and then finally a letter of denial'. Don't count on their lost or stoled credit cards. 1282e44

I paid almost $340 in fees deducted from return and was in turn told check in hand 7 to 10 days. Nope now it will be almost month and the crooks will still get the fees. Its their bank, they had confirmation from irs, but now will not cut the check. My father went to jackson hewitt the same day and a week later had check in hand, but block blames irs! never again!!!!! should be called h.r. shaft |

| 5. Written by Oops! on March 28, 2011 from salt lake city, utah, US You needed the preparer to write the last 4 digits of your social on the envelope? That is automatically what every Emerald card's pin is, unless you, the client calls to change it. Oops! |

Written by dnorthcutt@yahoo on March 7, 2011 from arlington, texas, US Unfortunately, I had received help from the tax preparer in setting my card, and while I was in the H&R Block office I chose my pin number, and wrote it on the back of the little envelope holding my card. Yes I know, "Duh". |
