went to h&r block like always, no problem, for the last 5or6 yrs, i"ve always gotten the anticipation check ths this year i decided to try the emerald card, i don't have a bank account so i figured it'll be easier for me so i didn't have to mess with any banks, boy was i wrong the preparer told me it was easier and faster well guess what i'm still waiting, they should'nt tell you when your expected to get your money if they don't know themselves then when you call them to ask wheres the money, they just give you questions to your own questions , they act like you don't know what your talking about, never a straight answer, i just want to know why is it taking so long, some of my friends who went after i did already got their money 1282f44  Comments (15) |

Written by Katie on February 10, 2012 from johnstown, pennsylvania, US I filed on the 31st, was promised by my preparer that if the IRS accepted my taxes the same day, that my RAC would be deposited on my emerald card on Feb 8th. IT'S STILL NOT THERE!! Everyone who requested a RAC is supposed to get it way before what the IRS Where's my refund date. It has nothing to do with the IRS as long as they accepted your return. The RAC comes from HR BLOCK's bank... They just keep lying to everyone! I've filed my taxes there since 2005 and every year it gets more expensive. I paid $643 to get mine done! I know people who filed with CPA's and turbo tax who received their refund already. I will never go back to HR BLOCK!! |

So i tried it for the 1st time and it's my last that's for sure. I was told i would have mine by the 8th or no later then 13th. I checked IRS.GOV and they said the 21st. That's BS!!! I filed on 01-31-12I stopped at H&R and they said they never said that... BS again. I will drive an hour to another place next year... |

Written by Bettylou on February 3, 2012 from san marcos, texas, US My money finally came after being delayed for a week, I chose to have it put on the emerald card versas paying 35.00 to have them deposit my money in my bank account. Well on the day the deposit hit, I went to pay for daycare and the card was declined, I call H*R block and they said they are having system errors. Next year I will just pay the extra 35.00 bucks for direct deposit, I have no idea when I will be able to use this card. |

I could have done it for free, saved money and got my money in just as long direct deposited with Efile. Oh by the way no money yet. Called them and same BS they tell everyone as they read a script. H&R Block lost this customer I will never go back again nor refer anyone there. |

I filed on the 19th and it was accepted the same day by the irs! It is feb 2nd and I still have no money! When I call them they don't have a clue what's going on! Hr block is ran by a bunch of idiots! They have done nothing but lie and scam me! U have definately lost a customer! |

They were wrong as always. So, why do we pay close to $300 for filing our taxes when we can do the same thing for free? I am very upset with the service and promises they can not keep. Also, while we were getting our taxes done an H&R block employee was video taping my daughter. When I asked him what he was doing I was told it is a free country! I dealt with the problem. Beware you don't know who they hire! |

I was charged $460 To get my return on a emerald card instantly Only to find out that I will receive the funds 2 weeks from then. Horrible service, H&R block is a predatory company and a rip off. Don't ever go there.im still fighting with them to get my money back. |
