I have their 2019 Premium program/software. My biggest complaint is I wanted to e-file a very simple 1040.
I got an email the next day from HR Block stating: "We can't e-file your return right now. To continue the filing process, please call us at 877-844-****, Monday-Friday."
I called the number and the Block phone agent said I could not e-file without answering some personal questions the agent had. I refused to give this unknown person answers about me, which would've set me up for ID theft. They must think I'm an idiot.
Why do they think I bought the software program, to store on my own computer only?
Now I have to file on paper as well as file a dispute with my credit card company over the entire state filing fee. The latter was supposedly $19.95, but after I gave the card number it came through as $21.20 because I was charged sales tax on the state filing fee too.
As for help from their virtual assistant chat, that was a joke.
