How long does it take for state tax refund return
I filed my state tax in Feb 6 2025 with Mr. kim . I received a letter today March 15 2025 stating that I need to submit a copy of my W2 for employment,I am on social security and all documents were given to do my state and federal return, I have already received my federal return.(I Did not work in 2024.

So I had three W-2s for tax return last year and a tax credit. No big deal, they say.
Well, you get charged the upgrade because you have this, this, and that. I was like, okay, whatever. Well, the IRS accepted my refund. Okay, should get it back in 3 weeks.
My state came and went; the time for my federal came and gone.
I called them and asked them, 'I don’t know, call IRS.' So I did. I won't get anyone able to help until 30 days.

Preferred solution: My tax return and or advancement in tax return I got bills to pay..

We have been long-time customers. We received a letter from the IRS about them not receiving our 2021 return, but they did receive the amount we owed.
Multiple calls to the IRS and H&R Block to be told by H&R Block, 'Yeah, we see your return, and yeah, when you pay for help with letters from the IRS...yeah, we can't help you with old returns!' I explained that we upgraded so they would resolve issues with the IRS over our return and politely told me since it's been over 90 days, there wasn't anything he could do!
Stay as far away from this as you can!

Unprofessional and risky
An office manager contacted me after I was given the run around for 2 weeks, several calls back and forth, case and confirmation numbers and "escalations" and told me that she talked to some department about taking legal action over one of her employees stating my SSN, DOB, and address out loud in her office, over them refusing to give me previous tax paperwork, saying "they can't and it's online." that I was told to come into the office to get by customer service. Great company.
My identity was known to everyone in the norwood ohio HRblock office that day, and they did and said basically nothing about how they were going to handle their employees and others who were there, i question some of their job titles for people who try to get over on someone in a nice way. A company I'll never deal with again. Over an AGI.

HR block did not handle my taxes right for 2021 and 2022
I had HR block to my taxes for 2021. They calculated a major refund on the taxes that I should not have had that if they had done it correctly.
This is wholly on HR Block. I had to pay taxes due back and interest for a year starting in 2024. I did my own taxes for 2022 and hired HR Block ONLINE to review my filing using the exact same system that they used for my taxes for 2021. The review said it did it correctly.
This was not so. Again in 2024 I had to pay back taxes and interest on my 2022 taxes. The office I did for my 2023 taxes in Perris, Calif advised me of the error when they did my taxes for 2023 and promised a refund of the fee and back taxes that they said I had to pay the IRS for both my 2021 and 2022 taxes because of their errors for 2021 and 2022. Then they lied and said they were not responsible for any error on either 2021 or 2022 taxes that were DONE by HR Block and/or reviewed and approved by HR Block ONLINE that I paid a fee for.
They told me that it was my fault for doing my taxes in 2022 based upon the way the HR Block itself had done for me for 2021. That I was due no money. I have not complained before but since tax season is coming up I want you to know how your offices in Perris and Moreno Valley and ONLINE REVIEWS are not handled properly leaving me to pay back to the IRS over $8,000 dollars that HR BLOCK said I was due. I don't expect HR Block to do anything on this tho my files for 2021 and 2022 are available for review.
I expect HR Block to ignore this complaint as they don't care.
I do advise all family members and friends now NOT to use HR Block to calculate their taxes. You hire liars.

I have been going to this office for years. I called this morning to make an appointment and after hanging up, I was sent a confirmation email in Spanish. There is nothing about me that is Spanish—I won't be going back to H&R Block. Here is part of what I received:

Tax professional filed wrong taxes on 2023, she has submitted a child tax credit plus me a a head of household, even though she was informed my ex husband claimed my child, she has informed me that the child credit wasnt submitted my ex husband. Complaint
Hello, I would like to file a complaint against my tax expert, Christi Mills. She was completely inept and had to ask me the same questions repeatedly, like my last name and birthday, when she had it in front of her.
Also, her computer system was lagging, and her information and questions were unnecessary and did not match the timeline that I was there.
Whom I was married to, what address, nothing matched. Something is not right and I would like this looked into.

I had to start a new account with you guys using the My Block app. So, I initiated it and was able to access the new account.
Moreover, I was trying to get old tax returns that I needed. I went through the identity verification process, and I know very well that I'm entering the correct information. However, the system kept telling me that the information was incorrect and they couldn't verify my credentials. Thus, they failed to provide me what I needed in terms of past tax returns and asked to try again.
So, I repeated this process several times but ended up with the same results. Eventually, I was frustrated enough to call customer service. They informed me that it was a security glitch. You guys don't allow someone to start a new account and access the info because you guys store Social Security numbers.
I understand the reasoning, but why does the app repeatedly tell me that I'm inputting the wrong info so that I keep trying over and over, mistakenly thinking I'm typing something incorrect instead of informing me that I need to wait 24 to 48 hours to be able to access my past returns? This is utterly frustrating as it has done nothing but wasted my time. I needed those copies today, not in 48 hours. Verifying my identity should have been sufficient.
Honestly, I believe you should fix this issue. At the very least, you should post a notice about it on your site because, after talking to your representative, she divulged that she has received a ton of calls regarding this issue. I've filed my taxes through the years with you guys but am contemplating using another company.
Please fix this issue as soon as possible and I'll consider not taking my business elsewhere. Sincerely, a frustrated customer named Tony.

Got into physical tug of war with rep. who didn't want to give me my forms.
That was the reason I was there, to pick up my forms that she told me to come and get! Unreal
Yes I have yet to receive a FULL refund from H & R Block for the year of 2023! As I stated before, since they told me that they couldn't complete it and turn it in, I have to pay someone else to file it for me.
Unreal this is so frustrating.
I've been with this guys for ALL of my life! About 35yrs!

Cant even ask a question why my 2023 tax documents are missing from h&r without having to upgrade and pay money? What a scam.
DO NOT waste money on these ppl. You cant talk to anyone at all, even to ask why they lost copies of my tax return last year.

I've had a time with spruce with hand r block. They keep denying my claim even though I've got proof of not making these transactions and it's almost 6,000$.
So yes it's a lot of money but I even sent the email that the merchant sent to me ../saying that they know I didn't make these transactions and that my information has been compromised because I don't have an account with this merchant or anything so should have been a very easy claim to file but it's been months and they are doing nothing about it!!! I've read online where ppl have been going through the same thing
